Knows The Drill

For creators with a business behind the content

Virtual assistants for content creators

Stay close to the creative work while an assistant keeps the business details moving. Coordinate sponsor requests, asset handoffs and publishing preparation with one clear record. Knows The Drill recruits and prepares your assistant for your workflow before handoff.

Find your assistant

Keep the sponsor's latest request attached to the deliverable.

A brand asks for a revision. The editor needs the approved brief. The post is scheduled, but one deliverable is still waiting for a response. The work around content can become its own production queue.

An assistant can organize those obligations from inquiry through posted-link records and account follow-up. You keep ownership of the creative choices, commercial terms and what appears under your name.

The work to hand off

Give your content business a clearer operating record.

04

Prepare completion and account records

Collect published links and supporting records for the deliverables you confirm. Organize invoice inputs and follow up on administrative questions with the relevant contact.

Shape the role around the workload

Is your creator business ready for an assistant?

A useful fit when

  • Sponsor and collaborator follow-up creates recurring work between content sessions.
  • Deliverables, approvals and invoice inputs need a consistent record owner.

Discuss the setup first

  • You primarily need an editor, designer or channel growth strategist.
  • Brand agreements require decisions or account access you have not yet assigned to a responsible owner.

Managed support provides a dedicated, full-time assistant. Direct-hire responsibilities, hours and employment terms are agreed during matching.

Your name stays attached to the final decision.

Give your assistant a clear mandate for coordination, account access and communication while keeping creative and commercial authority with you.

  • You or your manager approves partnership terms, creative direction, statements and disclosure decisions.
  • Editing, design, channel strategy and specialist production skills must be discussed separately from administrative coordination.
  • Publishing access, messages, spending and sponsor reporting follow the permissions you agree; audience or revenue results are not promised.

Bring us one partnership from brief to posted link.

  • 01An agreed sponsor brief and the tracker or messages used to manage it.
  • 02Your asset folders, version rules and production collaborators.
  • 03The people who approve revisions, publication and commercial changes.
  • 04The channels, tools and account permissions the assistant would need.

Before you bring someone on

Can an assistant handle brand emails?
They can organize inquiries, gather missing details and follow up through the communication process you agree. You or your manager decides partnership fit, rates, terms and responses that create a new commitment.
Can they track sponsor deadlines and approvals?
Yes. Share the agreed brief and review process so the assistant can record each deliverable, date and owner. Changes that affect scope or publication come back to the person authorized to decide.
Will they edit videos or design thumbnails?
Those are separate skill requirements. Tell us what you need and which tools the work uses. We discuss the role during matching rather than assuming administrative support includes specialist creative production.
Can they publish posts on my behalf?
Publishing can be discussed with explicit account permissions and an approval process. Define which assets and instructions constitute authorization, who reviews the final content and what happens if a scheduled item changes.
Can one assistant support several channels?
Yes, if the volume and responsibilities fit the role. Use a shared record that identifies the channel, deliverable, asset version and next owner. We prepare the assistant for the agreed workflow before handoff.

Give the work around your content a consistent owner.

Show us the sponsor threads, approval requests and collaborator handoffs that compete with creative time. We will help define a role around keeping those commitments organized.
